Tacostec was born in 2010 with a very clear dream: to bring the authentic flavor of Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, to this side of the border. At that time, finding food with that unmistakable northern flavor was not easy, and the nostalgia for the tastes of home became the driving force that pushed us to begin.
Our beginnings were humble, starting from a food truck, working with hard effort, dedication, and a deep love for our land and our food. It was never just about selling dishes, it was about sharing our culture, our roots, and that regio pride we carry with us wherever we go.
One of our biggest challenges was connecting people from different cultures and traditions with our flavor. We wanted to offer something truly unique a taste that could speak for itself and make it clear that what we do has identity, character, and tradition. That every person who tasted our food could feel a little piece of Monterrey in every bite.
Over time, through consistent work and a strong commitment to quality, we have been able to grow and keep moving forward, always with the same goal: to take our food to the highest level and reach more people, without ever losing the essence that defines us.
